2012 Hall of Fame Inductee: Dino Perri (Men's Soccer)
Each week leading up to the 2012 Brock Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on June 16th we will have a Q&A with each of the inductees.
This week we feature former Brock men's soccer player Dino Perri.
1. Your most memorable moment as a Brock
Student-Athlete?
As a Brock student-athlete, my most memorable moment was playing
as a field player in the 1990 OUA playoffs against Western. That
game I scored a goal in regulation and then went in goal for
penalty kicks where I stopped three of their shots for the
victory.
2. Who inspires you?
The hard working players that I coach on a regular basis.
3. What has been your greatest accomplishment since
leaving Brock University?
Turning around a soccer program at McMaster University that
finished second last in the standings in my first year to a second
place finish four years later and in the process capturing two OUA
titles.
4. What has been the most significant change at Brock
University since leaving?
Without a doubt the addition of the student centre with the added
gyms and fitness centre. How I wish that was there when I was a
student-athlete.
