The Brock University Male and Female Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 1st are men's lacrosse player
Davis Neal (Orangeville, Ont.) and men's rower
Matthew Finley (St. Catharines, Ont.) who earn co-honours, and women's rower
Stephanie Mowder (St. Catharines, Ont.).
Neal, a first year Sport Management major, helped lead the Brock men's lacrosse team to a 13-3 playoff victory over the Laurentian Voyageurs. Neal led all players with a game-high nine points including five goals and four assists. With the victory, the Badgers advance to the CUFLA Championships in Lennoxville.
Finley, a third year Interactive Arts and Science major, helped lead the Brock men's rowing team to a silver medal finish at the 2015 CURC Rowing Championships. Finley captured double gold for the second consecutive weekend in the Men's 8+ and Men's Pair. He also placed fourth in the Men's heavyweight single. For his performance he was named the CURC Male Rower of the Year.
Mowder, a fifth year Labour Studies major, helped lead the Brock women's rowing team to a fourth place finish at the 2015 CURC Rowing Championships. Mowder was a double medal winner, capturing silver in the women's pair with teammate
Katherine Walker and a bronze in the women's single.
