TORONTO - The No. 1 ranked Brock University men's and women's wrestling teams captured their second tournament of the season as they won both divisions at the Toronto Open.

The women were led by Farrantina Gatta (48kg), Kristina McLaren (55kg), Indira Moores (67kg) and Shauna Kuebeck (72kg) who all captured gold. Mackenzie Smallwood (48kg) and Zoe Forsyth (82kg) both took home silver while Kelsey Hall (59kg) placed fourth. Club wrestler Larissa Buffalino (55kg) placed second and Jasmine Jasudavicius (59kg) was third overall.

For the Brock men, Sam Jagas (57kg), Charlie Bowling (68kg), Cruiz Manning (72kg) and Clayton Pye (90kg) all placed first in their respective weight class.  Joey Martin (61kg) and Rick Scaringi Deschatelets (90kg) both took home silver while Mat Kowald (76kg) was fifth. Club wrestler Ligrit Sodiku placed first at 61kg and Alex Moher was second overall at 57kg.
