Men's Curling places third at OUA Championships


PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - The Brock University men's curling team made up of skip Charles Kodors (Brampton, Ont.), second Cory Ewart (St. Thomas, Ont.), lead Jeff Fotheringham (Palmerston, Ont.) vice Jeff Inglis (Kleinburg, Ont.) and alternates Curtis Muir (Midland, Ont.) and Alex Harrison (Vernon, Ont.) placed third at the 2009 OUA Championships hosted by Trent University.

In the semi-finals Sunday morning the Badgers lost a heartbreaker 9-8 to the OUA regular season champion Western Mustangs.

Brock ends the 2008-09 OUA season with a 6-7 overall record (5-4 regular season, 1-3 OUA's).
