Women’s Curling opens with 4-0 record at West Sectionals

LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University women’s curling team (4-0 OUA) opened the 2010 Ontario University Athletics season with a perfect 4-0 record at the OUA West Sectionals. The men finished with a 1-3 record. 

The Brock women, led by second year skip Courtney Hodgson (Guelph, Ont.) recorded victories over Windsor (5-3), Western (6-3), Waterloo (5-4) and the defending CIS National Champion Laurier Golden Hawks (7-5). Hodgson shot 62 percent in all four matches.

Led by fifth year skip Charles Kodors (Brampton, Ont.), the men’s lone victory came over Windsor (7-6). Their three losses were against Waterloo (8-1), Laurier. (5-1) and defending OUA Champion Western Mustangs (11-5).
