Former Badger Brent Furtney is Canada's next sportscaster

TORONTO, Ont. - Tuesday night on the season finale of Gillette Drafted 2 on The Score former Brock men's basketball player Brent Furtney became Canada's next sportscaster.

As the winner of Gillette Drafted 2, Furtney has earned a one-year contract with The Score and one-year contract as a Gillette spokesperson.

"This has been the most incredible ride and experience," said Furtney. "I have really appreciated all the support from family and friends back home. Keeping the result to myself for the past few months has been incredibly difficult."
