Men's Lacrosse rolls past Laurentian 18-5
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team (4-3 CUFLA) rolled past the visiting Laurentian Voyageurs by the score of 18-5 Sunday afternoon at home. This was the Badgers last home game of the regular season.
Leading the way for the Badgers was senior Matt Evans (Peterborough, Ont.) who recorded a season high eight points adding two goals and six assists.
The freshman duo of Dillon Hendsbee (St. Catharines, Ont.) and Kyle Davis (Caledon, Ont.) both contributed with three goals and two assists each. Sophomore Jordan Hill (Peterborough, Ont.) added the natural hat trick while junior Jordan Weedmark (Carleton Place, Ont.) (2G, 1A) and sophomore Dustin Dunn (Peterborough, Ont.) (1G, 1A) rounded out the Brock leaders.
In goal, junior Daniel Fyfe (Etobicoke, Ont.) registered 12 saves for his first victory of the season.
The Badgers have three road games remaining in the CUFLA regular season versus Western, Guelph and McMaster.
