Barkwill named OUA All-Round Player, Five players named OUA All-Stars

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team received one major award and had five players named to the OUA East All-Star.

Brock captain Ray Barkwill (Niagara Falls, Ont.) became the fifth Badgers player in the past six years to receive the OUA All-Round Player Award joining the likes of former standouts Dan Ropp, Pat Boyle and Martin Clancy who received the award twice.

Brock also had five OUA East All-Star team selections led by the 2008 OUA leading scorer Rory McDonell (Brantford, Ont.). Joining McDonell are Levon Kvas-Rothwell (St.Catharines, Ont.),
Tom Clancy (Lindsay, Ont.), Mike Berry (Trenton, Ont.) and Hugh McDonell (Brantford, ont.).
