Brock men's rugby drops third straight with 29-5 loss to Queen's

 

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team (2-4 OUA) loss for their third straight game, dropping a 29-5 decision to the Queen's University Gaels Saturday afternoon as part of the Badgers Homecoming.

Leading the Gaels offense was Liam Underwood who finished with a game high 14 points adding one try, three converts and one penalty kick. Tim Richardson, George Gleeson and Tommy Kirkham all contributed with one try each in the victory.

Underwood currently leads the OUA in scoring with 60 points. Gleeson and Richardson are both tied for seventh in the OUA with 25 points each.

Scoring the lone try for the Badgers was senior Matt Alexander (Oshawa, Ont.) who currently ranks fifth in OUA scoring with 33 points.

The Badgers next action is October 22nd when they take on the Toronto Varsity Blues on the road.
