Brock men's rugby announces 2012 schedule

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team have released their 2012 OUA regular season schedule. George Burford and Don Pettitt take over the new coaches of the Brock men's rugby program.

The Badgers open the 2012 OUA season on September 5th at 3 p.m. when they travel to Kingston to take on the Royal Military College Paladins.

Brock will then return home for their homeopener against the University of Toronto Varsity Blues (Sept. 9th - 1 p.m.).

The following week, the Badgers take on the Laurier Golden Hawks (Sept. 14th - 3 p.m.) before returning home for back-to-back home contests against divisional rivals. On September 22nd at 1 p.m., the Badgers play host to the McMaster University Marauders. They will then go head-to-head against the University of Guelph Gryphons as part of Badgers Homecoming Weekend (Sept. 29th - 1 p.m.)

Brock will then be on the road for two key divisional matchups when they go up against the defending OUA Champion Western University Mustangs (Oct. 5th - 4 p.m.) and Queen's University Gaels (Oct. 20th - 1 p.m.).

The Badgers close out the OUA regular season at home on October 27th at 1 p.m. when they host the Waterloo Warriors.
