Women’s Swimming Places 18th at CIS Championships
The Brock University men’s and women’s swim teams competed at the 20-10 CIS Championships this past weekend in Toronto. The women collected 16 points in total while placing 18th overall.

Brock qualifies seven swimmers for CIS Championships
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's and women's swim teams had a strong overall performance this past weekend at the OUA Championships. The Brock women placed 6th overall while the men finished 10th. The Badgers had seven swimmers qualify for the upcoming CIS Championships being hosted by the University of Toronto.

Badger Women’s Swimming Takes Second at 2009 Eynon Divisional Championships
The Brock Badger swimmers put forth their fastest times of the season to date while racing three days in Ottawa November 13th-15th. On Friday the team raced the University of Ottawa in a closely contested dual meet; then carried on to race the next two days at the Eynon Divisional Champs hosted by Ottawa. The competition featured six of the other OUA teams.

The Brock Badgers swimmers, appropriately dressed for the occasion, traveled to McMaster to compete Saturday October 31st. The team had great attitude going into the meet with positive attitudes, and although still tired from training, they were ready to face the competition.

Badger Swimming Kicks Off the Season October 17th-18th
The Brock Badgers Swim Team kicked off their 2009-2010 season competing at Guelph this past Saturday and at home on Sunday. The Guelph Gryphons hosted six teams including the Badgers at the Sprint Invitational, the first of the two competitions.

Brock Athletics honours 2009 Hall of Fame Inductees
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University Department Athletics hosted their 7th Hall of Fame Induction ceremony Saturday night as they honoured four athletes, one builder and one team. Brock Director of Athletics Dr. Lorne Adams also honoured Bruce Wormald and Helen Henderson, the first ever Male and Female Athletes of the Year in Brock school history.

Women's Swimming places 5th at OUA Championships
OTTAWA, Ont. - The Brock University women's swimming team placed fifth overall at the 2009 OUA Championships hosted by the University of Ottawa. The Badgers had one of their best performances in school history finishing with 315 points.

Hopkins qualifies for CIS Swimming Championships
Five of Brock’s best swimmers competed at the Ontario Cup competition hosted at the University of Toronto January 17th-18th. The meet featured all of Ontario’s top swimmers, including three Beijing Olympians; as well as a scattering of other Olympians from other countries.
