THUNDER BAY, Ont. - The Brock Badgers women's basketball team (13-7 OUA) found themselves down at half-time to the Lakehead Thunderwolves, but outscored their opponent 22-12 in the third quarter en route to a 71-55 win Saturday night.

Emily McKay (Toronto, Ont.) shot a season high 58.3% (7-12) from the field including three of six from beyond the arc to total 17 points in leading the Badgers to the win. Samantha deJong also recorded her third straight double-double with 15 points and ten boards.

Whitney Gorges (Welland, Ont.) and Jessica Del Signore (Brantford, Ont.) also added nine points each for the Badgers.

Tasia McKenna had a game high 25 points for Lakehead, but was the only Thunderwolves player in double figures.
