Cross Country results from 35th Annual Western International

LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University men's and women's cross country team competed at the 35th Annual Western International this past weekend. The men placed 11th while the women were 16th overall.

In the men's 10 K run, Brock freshman Nathan Wanuch (Mississauga, Ont.) put together one of the team's most impressive performances in school history at this event. Wanuch placed 18th overall in a time of 33:17.6.

Sophomore Kevin Moore (St. Catharines, Ont.) was the Badgers second finisher placing 43rd in a time of 34:35.2. Third year Chris DeVries (Seaforth, Ont.) (93rd - 38:47.7) and freshman Cas Sica (94th - 38:50.7) were the Badgers third and fourth place finishers.
 
In the women's 5 K run, freshman Jessica Bozzo (Toronto, Ont.) was the Badgers top finisher placing 82nd overall in a time of 21:33.5. Katrina Massey (89th - 21:52.5) and Brittany Dunbar (Stouffville, Ont.) (92nd - 22:20.9) were Brock's second and third place finishers.
