Brock Men Place 11th, Women 12th at 2009 OUA Cross Country Championships

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's and women's cross country team hosted the 2009 OUA Championships Saturday morning with the men placing 11th overall and the women 12th.

In one of the Brock men's top finishes in years rookie standout Nathan Wanuch placed 21st overall and was second amongst OUA rookies finishing in a time of 31:55. Kevin Moore placed 38th overall in a time of 32:45 with Chris Devries (89th - 35:55), Cas Sica (93rd - 36:30), Derek Moore (97th - 37:29), Todd Boker (98th - 37:33) and Rob Welch (100th - 38:51) rounding out the Badgers roster.

Leading the Badger women was rookie Erin Sukkau who finished 40th overall in a time of 19:26. Brittany Dunbar was the second Brock finisher placing 66th in a time of 20:36. Katrina Massey (74th - 20:57), Courtney Workman (77th - 20:59), Beth Thomson (89th - 22:03), Maria Washburn (96th - 22:46) and Teri Lynn Moffat (97th - 22:50) rounded out the Brock lineup.
