Tatum O'Connor helped lead the Brock women's swimming team to their first Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Dean Boles Divisional Championship. Over the two-day competition on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday Nov. 24, the Kinesiology major won a total of four gold medals and two silvers. She set individual school records in the 50-metre backstroke with a time of 28 seconds and in the 100-metre backstroke with a time of 1 minute and 88 milliseconds, placing first in both races. O'Connor along with Grace Chai, Quinn Mersereau and Pearl Publow broke a school record and Dean Boles Divisional Championship record with a time of 1:44.91 in the 4x50m freestyle relay en route to a first-place finish. In the 4x50m medley relay (1:56.93), the second-year swimmer also broke a school record along with Chai, Adriana Martone and Bella Seabrook while coming in second. O'Connor also broke a Dean Boles Divisional Championship record in the 50m freestyle (26.06) for her fourth gold medal of the meet while her time of 28.07 in the 50m butterfly earned her a second silver medal.
