After a very strong summer track season, Lauren Macsai, a fifth-year Community Health major, finished first overall in the women's division during Sunday Sept. 21 PGXC Race Series in Williamsville, N.Y. Her time of 18:23.8 in the five-kilometre race, matched a course record while also helping lead the women's team to a first-place finish. Macsai maintained a quick and consistent pace throughout the competition, clocking in an average of 3:41/km.
