Starting on the mound in the gold medal game, Evan Marks pitched a clinic against Laurier, tossing a complete game shutout help the Badgers secure their fifth OUA Championship title. The fifth-year Business Administration major dominated on the bump, striking out eight Golden Hawks without surrendering a single walk across nine innings of work. Demonstrating composure on the biggest stage, the veteran kept batters off-balance all game long, finishing the game on just 91 pitches to cap off the Badgers undefeated run to provincial gold.
