Kevin Forrest

Kevin Forrest is a Hockey Canada, High Performance 1 certified coach. 

Prior to joining Brock in August of 2018, Forrest spent four seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League where he won a league Buckland Cup championship and back-to-back Central Canada Region, Dudley Hewitt Cup championships as an Assistant Coach with the Trenton Golden Hawks.

Born in Toronto, Ont, Forrest’s coaching career began at the minor hockey level with the GTHL’s Don Mills Flyers where he spent four seasons split between the Bantam & Midget AAA teams assisting in the development of several future Major Junior & College players, some of whom went on to play at various professional levels around the world including a few at the NHL level.

Forrest’s first Junior position came with the North York Rangers where he helped guide the team back into the playoffs in year one of the teams rebuild and earned a promotion to Head Coach in his third season with the club.

After three straight seasons of playoff hockey with the Rangers, Forrest was hired by the York University Lions men’s hockey program as an Assistant Coach eventually taking over as Head Coach just prior to the start of his third season with the Lions.

Forrest’s playing career includes U SPORTS with the University of Windsor followed by a brief pro career in the UK with the Basingstoke Bison.
