TORONTO, Ont. - Three former Brock men's lacrosse players were
part of the Toronto Rock's 8-7 National Lacrosse League
Championship victory over the Washington Stealth Sunday afternoon
in front of 14,488 fans at the Air Canada Centre.
Sandy Chapman, Pat Campbell and Pat Maddalena, all known for
their championship success with the Badgers, were part of the
Toronto Rock roster in 2011 who captured their sixth NLL
Championship in team history (1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2011),
their first since 2005. For Chapman it was his fourth title as a
member of the Rock, Campbell his second and the first for
Maddalena.
Toronto's sixth title now equals the all-time mark for
Championship Game success that was set by Philadelphia as they've
won six titles as well.
