ST. CATHARINES, Ont.- The Brock University women's hockey team (0-3 OUA) lost their third straight to begin the OUA season dropping a 2-1 decision to Ryerson Rams Thursday night at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
Ryerson opened the scoring 7:24 into the opening period as Clare Sabine setup Samantha Pui for her first goal of the season.
The Rams would take a 2-0 lead midway through the second period as Emily Rose Galliani Pecchia stole it off the stick of the Brock defense walking in all alone and burying it under the bar past Brock starter Juila Ouroumis for the shorthanded marker.

Erin McColm for her first career goal with 14:41 remaining in regulation.
Ouroumis would come up big with a few key saves late to keep it a one goal game.
The Badger forwards would continue to put pressure on, but it was Ryerson starter Emma Crawley standing tall finishing the night with 36 saves. Ouroumis added 22 saves in the loss.
Brock returns to action tomorrow when they take on the Cornell Big Red on the road. Their next home action is scheduled for Oct.13th at 7:15pm when they host the Toronto Varsity Blues at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
