TORONTO, Ont. – The Brock University men's hockey team picked up a thrilling 5-3 victory over the Toronto Varsity Blues Saturday night, extending their winning streak to two games. With the victory, Brock is now 10-9-3 on the campaign.

Josh Schram (Paris, Ont.) opened the scoring three minutes into the game, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead. Freshman
Sammy Banga (Windsor, Ont.), who had an assist on the first goal, netted one of his own four minutes later, extending Brock's advantage to 2-0.
Senior
Matt Abercrombie (Sarnia, Ont.) closed out the period with his 13th goal of the season, and Banga added another helper for his third point in 20 minutes of action.
The Varsity Blues added a pair of power play markers to cut the lead to 3-2, before senior
C.J. Dickson (Thorold, Ont.) gave his squad a bit of breathing room at 14:24 of the middle frame. Dickson's goal was scored with a man-advantage, from senior

In the third, Toronto once again got within a goal, but it was Abercrombie who put it away with an empty net goal in the final minute.

Real Cormier (Trenton, Ont.) recorded 36 saves for his first csreer victory in his Badgers debut.
The Badgers sit 6th in the OUA West division, and are tied with the York Lions who have a game in-hand.
