Box Score TORONTO - The Brock Badgers women's hockey team picked up its first point of the season in a 3-2 shootout loss to the University of Toronto Varsity Blues Sunday afternoon at Varsity Arena.

Rookie goaltender Stephanie Loukes made 41 saves including 15 in the overtime period for the Badgers.

Brittney Cabral and Jessica Fickel bulged the twine, both on the powerplay, for the Badgers (0-2-1 OUA).

Brock finished the game 2-for-6 on the powerplay, and were perfect on the penalty kill as Toronto (3-0 OUA) went 0-for-4.

The Badgers continue play on the road next Saturday at Guelph, followed by a visit to York on Sunday November 2nd.  Their next home game is Friday November 7th against UOIT. Game time at the Seymour-Hannah Centre is 7:15 pm.
