Box Score THUNDER BAY, Ont. - The Brock Badgers men's hockey team (3-5-1 OUA) closed out its northern road trip by splitting a two-game series against the Lakehead Thunderwolves (4-6-2 OUA).  

Brock trailed 7-0 before Dylan MacEachern scored his second goal of the season 4:14 into the third period.

8-1 Lakehead was the final.

Adrian Volpe suffered the loss for the Badgers allowing seven goals on 27 shots.  Clint Windsor made 14 saves on 15 shots to close out the game.

"It was tough loss tonight, but we picked up a valuable two points on the weekend," said Head Coach Murray Nystrom.  "We have a big weekend coming up at home against Carleton and RMC so we have lots of good things to build upon."

Lakehead outshot Brock 42-37 overall. 

The Badgers penalty kill was perfect on five Thunderwolve powerplays.  Brock went 0-for-3 with the man-advantage.

Brock won Friday's contest 4-2.

The Badgers now return home for a Friday night game against the Carleton Ravens. Game time at the Seymour-Hannah Centre is 7:15 pm.
