Box Score KINGSTON, Ont. - The Brock University women's hockey team battled the No. 4 Queen's Gaels down to the wire, losing in shootout 4-3 Saturday night at Memorial Gardens.

Queen's opened the scoring 14:47 into the first period as Addi Halladay beat Brock starter Stephanie Loucks for her eighth goal of the season. The Badgers would tie the game 1-1 three minutes later, on the powerplay, as Ally Graham buried it past Queen's goaltender Caitlyn Lahonen  for her first of the season. The Gaels Halladay would add her second of the night with one minute left in the first period as Queen's held a 2-1 lead after twenty minutes.

Just 11 seconds into the second period, Graham would set up Badgers rookie Christina Ieradi for her 10th goal of the campaign, tying it 2-2. Just over a minute later, Queen's would regain the one goal lead, 3-2, as Nadia Larocca found the back of net for her second of the season.

Midway through the third period, the Badgers would go to work on the powerplay, as Laura Neu and Jessica Fickel setup Ieradi for her second goal of the night and 11th of the season, tying the game 3-3 and sending it to overtime.

In the overtime nothing was solved, sending it to shootout. Queen's had all three shooters score; Jessica Wakefield (Goal), Taryn Pilon (Goal), Fiona Lester (Goal). The Badgers scored on two out of three chances; Christina Ieradi (No Goal), Jessica Fickel (Goal), Laura Neu (Goal).

Queen's Lahonen recorded 22 saves for the victory, while the Badgers Loucks collected 28 saves in the loss.
