Box Score ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University women's basketball team defeated the Memorial University Sea-Hawks by the score of 83-53 Friday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium. 

Brock had four players in double figures led by first year Chrissy Sirignano (St. Catharines, Ont.) who led all scorers with a game high 18 points, including four three-pointers.  

Jenalyn Yumol (London, Ont.) finished with 14 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals. Kira Cornelissen (Aylmer, Ont.) added 14 points and five boards while Melissa Tatti (Ancaster, Ont.) chipped in with 12 points and four rebounds in the victory.

For the Sea-Hawks, Sydney Stewart recorded 15 points and six rebounds in the loss.

Brock shot 38.2% (29-for-76) from the field, 26.7% (8-for-30) from three-point land and 85.0% (17-for-20) from the charity stripe. Memorial was 17-for-54 (31.5%) from the field, 4-for-23 (17.4%) from long range and 62.5% (15-for-24) from the free throw line.

The Badgers defense forced Memorial into 34 turnovers while also winning the battle on the glass by a 45-44 margin.
