Box Score ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University women's basketball team defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs by the score of 50-45 Friday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.

The Badgers had three players in double figures led by Jenalyn Yumol (London, Ont.) who recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds and Kira Cornelissen (Alymer, Ont.) who contributed with 13 points and 10 boards. Kayla Santilli (Brantford, Ont.) added 11 points and six rebounds, including three treys, while Melissa Tatti (Ancaster, Ont.) rounded out the Brock leaders finishing with four points, six rebounds and five steals.

The lone Laurentian scorer in double digits was Adriane Bruni who added 10 points and four rebounds.

For the game, Brock shot 25.9% (15-for-58) from the floor, 25.0% (6-for-24) from beyond the arc and 60.9% (14-for-23) from the free throw line. Laurentian went 13-for-54 (24.1%) from the field, 8-for-28 (28.6%) from three-point land and 78.6% (11-for-14) from the charity stripe.

The Badgers return to action Saturday afternoon at 5pm when they host the Saint Mary's Huskies at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.
