Box Score THUNDER BAY, Ont. - The Brock University women's volleyball team (1-4 OUA) picked up their first victory of the regular season as they defeated the Lakehead Thunderwolves by the score of 3-1 (24-26, 25-17, 25-21, 25-10) Saturday afternoon at the C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse.

The Badgers had a balanced offense led by Kelsi Boroevich (Burnaby, BC) who finished with eight kills and 13 digs. Tori Carroll (Walkerton, Ont.) added seven kills while Breanna Hamilton (Dunrobin, Ont.) and Alanna Norris (Whitby, Ont.) chipped in with six kills each. Maddie Brown (Scarborough, Ont.) added five kills and three block solos to round out the Badgers leaders. Libero Karlinna O'Leary finished with nine digs in the match.

Leading the Thunderwolves was Kailan Robinson who finished with nine kills and 12 digs in the loss.

For the match, the Badgers hit .154 adding 34 kills with 16 errors on 117 attempts. Lakehead added 27 kills and 28 errors on 129 attempts for a -.008 hitting percentage. The Badgers return the action on Sunday at 2 p.m. when they take on the Thunderwolves to close out the weekend series.
