Box Score LONDON, Ont. - The Brock University women's volleyball team defeated the Western Mustangs by the score of 3-1 (21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22) Sunday afternoon to clinch third place in the OUA West Division.

Leading the Badgers offense was Renee Helmer who recorded 14 kills and 12 digs for the double-double. Tori Carroll came up big contributing with 11 kills, Abby Jenkins added eight kills and five digs, Stacie Thomas collected five kills and six blocks while Maddie Brown chipped in with four kills and 3.5 blocks.

Senior setter Lauren Stirling collected 36 assists and seven digs while libero Karlinna O'Leary finished the regular season with 19 digs, setting a new single season Brock record with 375 digs and 5.28 digs/set.

Western's Aja Gyimah and Candice Scott both registered 10 kills each in the loss.

The Badgers had a .129 hitting percentage adding 45 kills with 27 errors on 140 total attempts. The Mustangs recorded 42 kills with 35 errors on 139 attempts for a .050 hitting %.

The Badgers now advance to the OUA 1/4 Finals and will take on the second place Guelph Gryphons on the road.
