WINDSOR, Ont. - The Brock Badgers men's hockey team dropped a 4-2 decision to the Windsor Lancers in game two of their best of three opening round OUA quarterfinal playoff series.
The series is now tied 1-1 after Brock won game one 2-1. Game three goes Sunday night in Windsor.
On Saturday in Windsor, the Badgers opened leads of 1-0, and 2-1 before the Lancers scored three unaswered goals in the third period.
Jamie Kendra and
Patrick Volpe scored their first career playoff goals for Brock who was outshot 51-27 overall.
"We played a very good game today, and Windsor showed why they're the defending OUA Champions," Brock head coach
Murray Nystrom said. "We are excited to play in tomorrow's series finale."
Windsor finished the game 2-for-11, while the Badgers were 0-for-3.
Adrian Volpe turned aside 47 shots in the loss for Brock. Parker Van Buskirk made 25 saves to pick up the win.
