GUELPH, ON - The Brock University men's hockey team dropped a 7-2 decision to the Guelph Gryphons Saturday night on the road.
Guelph opened the scoring 5:45 into the opening period as Marc Stevens added his first of the season with Tryg Strand and Scott Simmonds adding the assists. The Gryphons would add two more goals in the final minute from Robert Lepine and Marc Stevens to lead 3-0 after one period.

Sammy Banga (Windsor, ON) for his team leading fourth goal of the season, making it 3-1.
The Gryphons answered with three more from Cody Thompson, Michael Stevens and Wyatt Trainer to take a 6-1 lead after 40 minutes.
In the final period, Guelph would go up 7-2, before Brock's Matt MacLeod (Niagara Falls, ON) closed out the scoring with second goal of the campaign.
