WATERLOO, ON - The Brock University men's hockey team came from behind to defeat the Waterloo Warriors in overtime by the score of 2-1 at the Columbia Ice Gardens Thursday night. After a scoreless opening 25 minutes,
Waterloo got on the board first, as Ryan Hanes and Sam Caldwell setup Michael Siddall for his second goal of the season.
The Badgers tied the game 1-1 on the powerplay 4:39 into the third period aa
Andrew Radjenovic (Hamilton, ON) and
Skylar Pacheco (Kitimat, BC) found Matt MacLeod (Niagara Falls, ON) who added his third goal of the campaign.
In goal,
Clint Windsor (Hamilton, ON) made his return to the Badgers lineup after missing two games with an injury. He was outstanding tonight registering a season high 45 saves, including 20 in the third period. Waterloo's Mike Morrison collected 28 saves in the loss.
The Badgers will travel across the border on October 22nd to take on the NCAA DI Cornell University.
Brock's next home game is scheduled for October 29th at 7:15pm when they host the Guelph Gryphons at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
