Box Score LONDON, ON - The Brock University women's hockey team defeated the No. 10 ranked Western Mustangs by the score of 2-1 in overtime Sunday on the road.

Western opened the scoring 13:33 into the opening period as Brianna Iazzolino setup Evra Levesque for her first goal of the season.

After a scoreless second period, Brock evened the game 1-1 seven minutes into the third period as Brittany Gillmor (St George Brant, ON) and Kailey Peirson (Kingston, ON) found Maggie Spratt-Mallick (Caledonia, ON) who buried it past Western starter Tareya Webster for her first goal of the campaign. 

In the overtime, it took just 37 seconds as rookie Annie Berg (Beamsville, ON) beat Webster for the game winner and third goal of the season.

In goal, Jensen Murphy (Kingston, ON) registered 27 saves for the victory. Webster added just 15 saves in the loss.

The Badgers return to action next weekend on the road when they take on the Nipissing Lakers (Nov. 19) and Laurentian Voyageurs (Nov. 20).
