TORONTO, ON - The Brock University women's team kept their playoffs hope Sunday afternoon on the road as they defeated the York Lions by the score of 2-1 in double overtime.
After a scoreless two periods, the Badgers opened the scoring 3:48 into the second period as

Kimberly Brown (Toronto, ON) for her fourth goal of the season.
York spoiled the shutout by Brock rookie starter
Jensen Murphy (Kingston, ON) with just 1:02 left in regulation as Laura Cazarzan and Erin Locke setup Teagan Duncan for her third goal of the campaign.

Laura Neu (Ayr, ON) who slid it past York starting goaltender Megan Lee for the game winner.
In goal, Murphy recorded 39 saves for her sixth win of the regular season. Lee turned aside 22 of 24 shots she faced in the loss.
The Badgers close out the 2015-16 regular season at home when they host the Guelph Gryphons (Feb. 20 - 2:15pm) and Queen's Gaels (Feb. 21 - 2:15pm) at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
