Box Score ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University women's hockey team (7-3-13-1 OUA) ended the 2015-16 season with a 5-1 loss to the Queen's Gaels on Senior Day Sunday afternoon at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.

Prior to the game, the Badgers honoured their graduating senior class, which included fifth year Brittney Cabral (Hamilton, ON) and captain Laura Neu (Ayr, ON), fourth year Erin McColm (Peterborough, ON) and former player and student trainer Claire Shaw.

Queen's jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the second period and went on to win their 15th game of the season. Scoring for the Gaels were Clare McKellar who registered two goals and two assists, Jessica Wakefield (2 goals) and Kyla Crouse (1 goal).

Brock's lone goal was scored by Cara Sayles (Welland, ON) on the powerplay.

Queen's starter Claire Warren allowed one goal on 20 shots for the victory. The Badgers Stephanie Loukes (Oakville, ON) and Jensen Murphy (Kingston, ON) combined for 25 saves in the loss.
