ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University men's hockey team dropped a 7-1 decision to the Windsor Lancers Friday night at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
Prior to the game, Brock University and the Badgers recognized a Syrian Family that just arrived in Canada in the new year. The family was in attendance and all decked out in Brock University red for the ceremonial faceoff.Â
The Lancers added two goals in the first period, one in the second and four more in the third, on route to the road victory.
Windsor had six different goal scorers led by Eric Noel who potted two. Adding single markers were Dylan Denomme, Ryan Green, Justice Dundas, Steve Anthony and Sebastian Beauregard.
The lone goal scorer for the Badgers was
Adam Lloyd (Orleans, ON) who added his third of the season.
Josh Timpano (Orillia, ON) and
Mitch Nardi (Hamilton, ON) added the assists,
The Badgers were outshot 54-24 in the contest. Brock starter
Clint Windsor (Hamilton, ON) collected 47 saves in the loss while Windsor's Michael Doan turned aside 23 of 24 shots he faced for the win.
Brock returns to action February 6th as they take on the York Lions on the road,
