LONDON, ON - The Brock University men's volleyball team (2-7 OUA) dropped a 3-1 (25-23, 14-25, 22-25, 18-25) decision to the Western Mustangs Saturday afternoon at Alumni Hall.

Leading the Badgers was Timmy Spisar who registered 11 kills and seven digs in the loss. John Elgersma contributed with eight kills and three blocks while Marcelo Correa finished with 25 assists. Libero Felipe Costa added a game-high eight digs.

The Mustangs were led by Evan Cranshaw who had a game-high 17 kills with only five errors, good for a .375 hitting percentage. Zeid Hamadeh and Bryn Ramsay added 13 kills each, while adding four and six digs respectively.

For the match, the Badgers collected 34 kills to go along with 26 errors for a hitting percentage of .082. The Mustangs countered with 54 kills, 26 errors and a hitting percentage of .252.

The Badgers' next action comes on January 29th when they face the Windsor Lancers at the St. Denis Centre. Game time is 1 pm.
