LONDON, ON - The Brock University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (12-25, 10-25, 17-25) decision to the No. 5 ranked Western Mustangs Saturday afternoon at Alumni Hall.

Rookies Grace Edwards (Smith Falls, ON) and Amy Cureton (Cambridge, ON) led the Badgers offense registering five and four kills. Breanna Hamilton (Dunrobin, ON), Renee Helmer (Waterloo, ON) and Laura Condotta (Etobicoke, ON) all added three kills each. Libero Karlinna O'Leary (Whitby, ON) collected 12 digs in the loss.

Western's Kelsey Veltman and Taylor Beedie led the way finishing with six and five kills respectively in the win.

For the match, Brock registered just 23 kills with 18 errors on 72 attempts for a .069 hitting percentage. The Mustangs hit .288 adding 29 kills and eight errors on 73 attempts.

The Badgers are on the road Sunday against the Windsor Lancers.
