The Brock University women's volleyball team defeated the Western Mustangs by the score of 3-2 (28-26, 17-25, 25-22, 14-25, 15-11) Saturday night at Alumni Hall.

Leading the Badgers offense was Laura Condotta who recorded 14 kills and 23 digs for the double double. Tori Carroll collected 11 kills while Grace Pyatt and Renee Helmer rounded out the leaders with nine and seven kills respectively. Brock setter Emily Armstrong finished with 36 assists and nine digs, while libero Julia Balatbat collected 13 digs in the victory.

Western had three players in double digits led by Kelsey Veltman who added 13 kills, five digs and three block solos. Melissa Langegger contributed with 11 kills and nine digs while Aja Gyimah chipped in with 10 kills and 13 digs for the double-double. Courtney Sestric added 19 digs while setter Kat Tsiofas finished with 39 assists and nine digs.

The Badgers recorded 49 kills and 28 errors on 169 attempts for a .124 hitting percentage. The Mustangs added 55 kills with 19 errors on 168 attempts for a .214 hitting efficiency.

The Badgers next action is Sunday at 1 PM when they take on the Windsor Lancers on the road.
