The Brock University women's hockey team defeated the University of Toronto Varsity Blues by the score of 1–0 Saturday night at Varsity Arena.
With the victory, the Badgers move into a tie for second place with 12 points and a 3-1-1-1 record, their best start since 2010-11 season.

In goal, Brock starter
Jensen Murphy turned aside all 39 shots she faced, including 18 in the final period for the victory. Murphy is currently ranked first in five statistical categories in the OUA. Toronto starter Madeline Albert added 26 saves in the loss.
Brock is at home next weekend Nov. 11th and 12th against the Nipissing Lakers and Laurentian Voyageurs at the Seymour-Hannah Centre.
