The Brock men's volleyball team (2-11) dropped a 3-1 decision (16-25, 17-25, 30-28, 19-25) at the hands of the York Lions on Saturday afternoon at Bob Davis Gymnasium.

The Badgers were led offensively by Timmy Spisar, who registered 14 kills with six errors for a hitting percentage of .250. Setter Marcelo Correa chipped in with 35 assists and Libero Felipe Costa notched a team high nine digs.

The Lions were led by Alex Duncan-Thibault who had a game-high 23 kills with only two errors, en route to a .488 hitting percentage. Jules Muhawe and Davis Gordon each added 10 digs in the victory.

The Badgers notched 43 kills to go along with 22 errors on 107 total attempts as they registered a .196 hitting percentage for the match. The Lions countered with 44 kills with 16 errors in 111 total attempts, good for a .252 hitting percentage

The Badgers are back in action on Sunday February 12th as they take on the Nipissing Lakers in the Bob Davis Gymnasium. Game time is 4pm.
