Box Score ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University women's basketball team ended the 2017 season with a 67-49 loss to the Lakehead Thunderwolves in the first round of the OUA Playoffs.Wednesday night at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.

The Badgers who dressed just six player's in tonight's game due to injuries, left it all on the floor tonight and finished the 2016-17 season with a 14-14 overall record.

Jessica Morris (Guelph, ON) and rookie Ana Sofia Rua (Lisbon, Portugal) both had strong games finishing with 14 points each. Morris knocked down a season-high four three pointers and also grabbed six rebounds. Rua was one rebound shy of the double-double adding 14 points and nine rebounds.Rookie Shannon Northey (Mississauga, ON) chipped in with four points, 14 rebounds and season high four blocks.

The Badgers went 21-68 (30.9%) from the field, 7-24 (29.2%) from beyond the arc. Lakehead shot 37.5% (30-80) from the field, 13.3% (2-15) from three-point land and 50.0% (5-10) from the free throw line.
