NORTH BAY, ON - The Brock University men's hockey team defeated the Nipissing Lakers by the score of 5-0 at Memorial Gardens Friday night on the road.
Brock opened the scoring with seven minutes left in the first period, as
Andrew Coupland (Cambridge, ON) and
Josh Timpano (Orillia, ON) setup
Jeff Corbett (Uxbridge, ON) for his first goal of the season.
The Badgers answered three more times in the second to take a commanding 4-0 lead. Scoring in the second were
Matt MacLeod (Niagara Falls, ON) with two and
Chris Maniccia (St. Catharines, ON) with a single marker.
Andrew Radjenovic (Hamilton, ON) added his 10th goal of the season to round out the Brock scoring.
MacLeod (2G), Maniccia (1G, 1A), Timpano (2A),
Sammy Banga (Windsor, ON) (2A) and
Adam Lloyd (Orleans, ON) (2A) all finished with two points each.
