Box Score ST. CATHARINES, ON - The No. 4 ranked Brock University men's basketball team defeated the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 71-58 Saturday afternoon at the Bob Davis Gymnasium. 

Leading the Badgers offense was Dani Elgadi (Waterloo, ON) who was two assists shy of a triple-double finishing with 19 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. He also become just the 9th player in school history to record 2,000 points in a career.

Daniel Cayer (Montreal, QC) and Cassidy Ryan (Mississauga, ON) both recorded 10 points each while Johneil Simpson (Toronto, ON) Trevor Thompson (Burlington, ON) and Ryan Bennett (Toronto, ON) chipped in with nine, eight and seven points respectively.

Laurier was led by Tevaun Kokko who recorded 15 points in the loss.

For the game, Brock shot 43.1% (28-65) from the field, while going just 2-12 (16.7%) from beyond the arc and 13-18 (72.7%) from the free throw line. The Golden Hawks shot just 35.8% (19-53) from the floor, 22.2% (4-18) from long range and 59.3% (16-for-27) from the charity stripe.
