TORONTO - The Brock University men's volleyball team dropped 3-0 decisions to the Ryerson Rams and University of Toronto Varsity Blues this weekend.
Against Ryerson,
John Elgersma led the Badgers offence with 11 kills.
Timmy Spisar and
Matt Forbes chipped in with five kills each in the loss.
Ryerson's Lucas Coleman led all players with 14 kills in the victory.
Brock collected 29 kills and made 16 errors on 77 attempts for a .169 hitting percentage. Ryerson hit .447 for the match, adding 45 kills with 11 errors on 76 attempts.
In the loss to Toronto, Spisar led the way with nine kills, six digs and three block solos. Adrian Yeun added five kills while
Calvin Fast and
Matthew Ragogna chipped in with four kills each.
William Colucci and Nicholas Trewern led Toronto with ten and nine kills respectively.
For the match, Brock hit .149 registering 29 kills with 16 errors on 87 attempts. The Varsity Blues collected 36 kills with 17 errors on 73 attempts for a .260 hitting percentage.
