The Brock University women's basketball team dropped a 76–44 decision to the Guelph Gryphons Friday night on the road. With the loss, Brock drops to 5-10 in the OUA West Division.
Brock had two players in double figures, led by
Baelie Campbell who finished with 17 points and four rebounds and
Miranda Smith who added 10 points, including two three-pointers.
Courtney Mcpherson led the way on the glass, registering 13 rebounds while chipping in with eight points.
For the game, Brock shot 25.9% (14-54) from the field, 12.5% (2-16) from three-point land and 63.6% (14-22) from the free throw line. Guelph shot 36.5% (27-74) from the floor, 35% (7-20) from beyond the arc and 78.9% (15-19) from the charity stripe.
The Badgers next action is Saturday night at 6pm when they host the nationally ranked Windsor Lancers at the Bob Davis Gymnasium.
