The Brock University men's hockey team defeated the Western Mustangs by the score of 3-2 Saturday night on the road.

The Brock University men's hockey team ended the Western Mustangs win streak at seven as they downed the Mustangs by the score of 3-2 on the road Saturday night.

Brock opened the scoring just 23 seconds into the opening period as Sammy Banga and Mitch Nardi setup Brandon O'Quinn for his eighth goal of the season.

Eight minutes into the second period, the Mustangs Zach Core would find the back of the net on Brock starter Clint Windsor to even it 1-1.

The Badgers regained the one goal lead at 12:38, as Cosimo Fontana added his fifth goal of the campaign with Brody Silk and Adam Lloyd adding the assists.

Western would even the game 2-2 just under three minutes into the third period as Spenser Cobbold added his seventh goal of the season.

In overtime, Josh Timpano would beat Western starter Luke Peresinni for the game winner at 3:21. 

Windsor registered 33 saves for the win while Peresinni collected 22 saves in the loss.
