Forward Daniel Cayer posted 15 points and the Brock men's basketball team tamed the UPEI Panthers 78-61 on Day 3 of the RBC Classic at Bob Davis Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.

"Overall, we were happy with how our team performed today. Winning the rebounding battle, not turning it over as much, and executing on the offensive end was the difference between today and Friday," said head coach Madhav Trivedi. "We still have lots of work to do, but are moving in the right direction and are excited that the exhibition season is finally underway."

Cayer also hauled in eight rebounds. Cassidy Ryan also recorded eight boards, five assists and 14 points.

Kascius Small-Martin added 12 points and seven rebounds.

Tyler Brown and Ryan Cooper each registered eight points.

The Badgers led 42-26 at halftime, and outrebounded the Panthers 51-33.

Samuel Campbell led UPEI with 24 points.

Up next, the Badgers travel to Nova Scotia to play the Acadia Axemen on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.
