Box Score The Brock men's hockey team narrowly lost 4-3 to Ryerson in Toronto on Thursday.
Captain Brody Silk scored twice and Ethan Price added two assists.
Ryerson fired 43 shots on goaltender Logan Thompson, while Brock replied with 25 shots on Rams netminder Taylor Dupuis.Â
In the first period, Brandon O'Quinn opened the scoring for Brock with a power-play goal.
Ryerson also capitalized with the man advantage with back-to-back goals before captain Brody Silk found the back of the net.
Silk's markers tied the game twice, but Matthew Santos netted the game winner for the Rams with less than three minutes remaining in the third.
For Ryerson, Santos tallied two goals and Hayden McCool potted a goal and two assists.
