Goalie Logan Thompson made 26 saves to backstop the Brock Badgers to a 2-0 win over the Toronto Varsity Blues on the road Friday.

Brock outshot Toronto through the first two periods before the Varsity Blues took control by outshooting the Badgers 12-3 in the third.

"We were doing everything tonight. Timely saves, outstanding goaltending," said head coach Marty Williamson. "Very solid team defence and our penalty kill was very good."

Ethan Spaxman put Brock on the board at 8:30 of the first period and Cosimo Fontana converted a feed from Tyler Rollo to make it 2-0 in the second.

Tyler MacArthur and Ryan Burton each contributed an assist on Spaxman's marker.

Up next, the Badgers (7-3) return home to host Windsor on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7:15 p.m.
