Melissa Tatti scored 27 points and the Brock women's basketball team defeated the Nipissing Lakers 73-56 to win their second consecutive game on Saturday.
Brock completed the first quarter with a 14-6 lead, but Nipissing outscored Brock by six points in the second. The Badgers led 27-25 at halftime.
"It was a very choppy game, a game of runs for sure," said head coach Mike Rao. "We played much better defensively the latter part of the game, which helped us pull away once again. We had a great bench effort once again which I am happy about."
Both teams battled for a tie until the Badgers pulled away by winning the fourth quarter 28-13.
Meagan Charbonneau tallied 10 points and Maddy Gojmerac posted nine points and nine rebounds. Kristin Gallant and Baelie Campbell each scored seven points. Campbell also hauled down 10 rebounds. Courtney McPherson collected nine rebounds and six points.
Up next, the Badgers (2-3) host the University of Toronto Varsity Blues on Friday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.
